Hi folks.

We used Hammonds for a large fitted wardrobe system in the bedroom a few years ago. We were impressed with the service, the fitter and the product (still looks great & had no problems).

We're looking at the kitchen now, and noticed they also do kitchens....which I don't remember from when we ordered the bedroom wardrobes.

Anyone used Hammonds for kItchens and can comment ?

We're based in South Bucks....any independents you'd recommend in the area (High Wycombe & surrounds) ?
Thx
Steve

Howdens kitchens are good.

The IKEA ones as well get good feedback on here too.

What style of kitchen do you have in mind, and is Aylesbury too far?

Depends on how high end you want to go. I've fitted three Ikea kitchens and for the money IMO they can't be beat. Their worktops are a different matter though, so I normally source a decent worktop to finish off and spend on more expensive appliances.

Ikea updated their range in 2014 and some of their interior fitments are difficult to distinguish from my Siematic kitchen.

I've just fitted my utility in white gloss Ikea with a solid surface worktop (direct from manufacturer). My sister commented at how good it looked for the money (£1000) compared to the small fortune I spent on the Siematic.

Delivery is always excellent, on time and nothing missing. If you keep your receipt there is a no quibble refund and a 25yr guarantee.

I'm inclined to agree, but I happen to now he only does the one style (painted Shaker) although he does do that style very nicely (so I'm told).
