Patio re-pointing advice
Discussion
Our patio is looking a bit tired and the existing pointing between the stones is disappearing in places and is being penetrated by grass and weeds in others.
This bit isn't too bad but gives an idea of the nature of the stone, etc.
Raking out the dirt/vegetation is fine but then what? Do I brush some sort of dry mix into the gaps and then water it? I can't imagine that would work particularly well but equally troweling some sort of wet mix into each gap seems bloody fiddly.
Aside from what to do, what should I be using? What's the exterior equivalent of grout?
Thanks!

flo point grout, mix up, brush it in, let it go off a bit then jet wash it off the slabs whilst leaving it in the joints...all of our paving is one with it in the back garden.
