Hi

I must be going mad I've been searching round for ages trying to find what section I need to fill in to reclaim the business miles tax relief

Ie let's say you get paid less than the 45p and do under 10k a year the difference you are entitled to the tax difference.

Does anyone know which section?
I'm guessing "Employment" the. "Employment expenses for xxx" then "business travel and subsistence expenses"
I'm putting in the £ difference between £0.45 and what I'm paid and then it's calculating the net position.

Is this correct?

Do you have a fuel card? How is it shown on your P11D?

I'm no expert on this (completing my first SA this year), but for my situaiton it is apparently the 'allowable expenses' part.

Goes in box 17 of the employment pages (SA102) and yes, you enter the difference. For example, if you had been paid 20p per mile for 1,000 miles you would enter £250 in the box.
