The auxiliary belt and clutch are completely seperate jobs.

Personally I'd use LUK stuff, never had an issue with it. Valeo and Sachs are ok (they make a lot of OE parts).

Worth changing the dual mass at the same time if that engine has one fitted. Obviously replacement gearbox oil.

other than that there isn't much else to replace.

Your car won't have a dual mass so don't worry about that, I'd put new drive shaft oil seals in as they can leak once disturbed, about £4 each from Euros.

Your fine with either Sach, valeo or LUK, I prefer fitting LUK tbh

The auxiliary drive belt is on the opposite side, removing the gearbox has no effect on accessing it.

How can you tell? Plenty of the 1.4TDCi engined cars were fitted with dual mass flywheels.

The clutch plate looks fine, the splined hub floats within the plate, and torque it coupled through the springs you can see around the middle of the plate. A small amount of clearance is needed for this to work, an it will not affect the operation of the clutch.
