I've been using the black nitrile gloves for a while now and though pretty good they do make my hands sweat a lot and are then difficult to get off and then back on again. They are also easily broken which I've not discovered until working with a degreaser.

Was wondering if there was a better glove solution when working on the car?

Are there more durable latex types? Have been using ones from Screwfix.

Are then more expensive re-usable types washable?

I use Polyco Finite orange HD gloves, last 10x as long as the thin blue/black ones, and clean up nice with some brake cleaner. I pay £10.40 inc. VAT from my local independent motor factors.

I buy these when I want non disposable gloves

Thin enough to retain feel, durable enough to protect hands and stand up to chemicals, cheap enough to not worry too much about washing / losing

Euro Car Parts own brand non powdered latex for disposables - blue nitrile are far too thin

Get Ansell Touch & tough green nitrile gloves. They are thicker than a lot of others, oil resistant so don't melt & disintegrate.
