So yet again we are in the next tax year - I'm going to start mine this weekend and then wait for the final P11D etc assume in May all done nice and early.

Did the same last year but pressed the button on 31/1/16 submission as I owned a lot... This time though I'll push the button straight away as I've money back.

Who else is getting the annual return done early?

Me... mine is all ready to go other than needing the accountants to finalise and submit the P11D

I want it in early because whilst there will be tax owed there should be a downward adjustment on my next payment on account, and as I already paid a chunk in January just gone, I shouldn't have any nasty shocks next year.

Always useful to know the difference between owning and owing!

I always submit mine on the 6th April. Not this year.

Like many who have drawn forward income into last year I have a funny feeling he may increase my July account payment.

Happy to wait until August 1st this year.

I'll be doing mine as soon as I get a P60 and P11D.......more bcos I'd like them to try and sort out my tax code which has been wrong for almost a year and then they can start taking back the tax owed gradually over the remainder of the new tax year....

I tend to do my paper tax return in September as I think a lot of people do theirs in April/May or leave till October if paper filing or December/January for on-line returns. I like to think I'm helping them to even out the workload smile
