I'm hoping someone can help as I can't find anywhere online about the location of the fuse I need to check. The manual I have doesn't show where it is and my next door neighbour couldn't find it in the bok either.

Does anyone know where the fuse is for the interior fans as they have completely stopped working and I want to rule that out first

Thanks in advance

i had the same on a 06 punto, it was the resistor, i think located in the pass footwell. cheap part and took about 5 mins to fix although my back to longer as you had to get kinda upside down to locate it.

I was going to get a new resistor and fit it myself but I want to make sure it's not the fuse first. Did you use a normal screwdriver to remove it or does it required a different tool?

Chances are it's the loom that's melted. Common fault on the GP.

Yeh, the specific fuse, not the box. I know there is a box in the bonnet and one in the glove compartment haha

Just an update...

I turned the car on and put the fan on and played with the cable underneath and it's working.

Seems it's a loose connection.

Does anyone have advice on how you could prevent it wiggling about?

Thats because the multiplug that goes into the resistor will be partly melted.

New loom and resistor, easy enough to fit.

Check the condition of the fan at the same time, it should spin freely under hand power.
