Irrigation Pipe Under Driveway
Discussion
My DIY installed irrigation system has been doing a good job but now I need to extend it under the gravel drive. This means trenching or tunneling the 1/2 inch water pipe.
I really want to tunnel it because I just know its going to sag and look rubbish after a couple of years if it's trenched.
Who does this sort of work? The bore hole would be about 7mtrs long and only needs to be 6 inches below surface I would have thought.

Moleing will cost (sticks finger in the air) about £10 per metre, depending on what the soil is like.
We had a new house water supply put in which was about 50 metres in very rocky ground and, according to the guy who did it, was a right ba5tard!!
Our pipe was about 50cm underground and he put in a 40mm liner pipe in which he ran the new 25mm supply.
Very neatly done though.

Thought I'd finish this thread off - I like it when others do that;
I have just had the moling done and am really pleased about the results. In the end I had the drive moled in 2 places to allow me to get irrigation to all parts of the garden. So a total of 3 holes were dug out (by hand) and 2 pipes were put in, with my Gardena irrigation pipe fed through them. Apart from the new pipes sticking up, its as if nothing had happened, so well did they return the site to normal. That included lawn and graveled areas.
So I can heartily recommend Impact Moling of Basingstoke for a great job.
