I'm trying to find a stone resin shower tray to fit the below alcove. Wall to wall, the measurement is 950mm but all I can seem to find is 900mm or 1000mm trays. I guess that's why the bit of the wall on the left has been built and sticks out. I would rather get rid of that bit of wall and have the shower flush to the walls.

Any ideas where I might get a 950mm tray?

Thanks in advance.

(No idea why the picture is sideways but hopefully you get the idea)

Wont be as cheap as an 'off the shelf' one, but quite a few places do 'custom size, bespoke' shower trays even with an upstand on them. Take your pick from Google. Never bought one, so can't recommend anyone, though.

Has anyone bought a bespoke one?

Any recommendations?

If your measuring tile to tile there's a chance the tray will be 1000. I've just fitted a 1700 tray into a 1650 opening as the previous bath was buried into the walls. Take off the plinth below the shower door and see if you can get a better measure.

Try JT TRAYS (Just Trays) UK based company in Yorkshire.

We've not had a bespoke tray made but we've got a stunning black/granite looking JT Fusion shower tray and pretty sure they offer a bespoke service on some of their trays. They may even have the size you require.

They're not cheap and depending on the tray you have need a bit more work to fit than the usual run of the mill tray (our tray weighed about 50-60kg and needed a mortar base on marine plywood to sit on!)

+1 can't see that being anything other than a standard size tray, the full width is covered by the tiles.

+2 the tray will sit wider under the tiles

Chaps I agree, the existing tray is a standard size, 900mm. But the alcove in which it sits is wider, 950mm, hence the bit of wall 'sticking out on the left/ bottom of the picture. Ideally I would like to get rid of that bit of ball, hence the need for an unusual sized tray. I hope that explains things a bit better.

Cheers for the recommendation of JT trays, I'll take a look right now.
