Not that I can buy it back, but I am interested if anyone knows the score with my old M635 CSi.

I sold it December 2013 to a chap and his dad from somewhere like Hertfordshire, and they were going to rebuild the engine and put it back towards standard.

The same chap had built a number of magazine featured BMWs etc, so I would be keen to know if anyone knows the chap, he's apparently on M3 Cutters forum (but I am not) and whether he's actually managed to fix it!

Reg was D865 UTU, in "lachs silber" and had Alpina wheels and, when I sold it, a 3.8 straight six from an M5 in place of the broken 3.5 that he intended to put back together!

Indeed - I did that, should have mentioned. So I know he hasn't rebuilt it... yet. I'm just hoping its a "work in progress" somewhere, really.
