How much to repair retaining wall?

Just got a building survey back on a house in looking to buy and was trying to find costs of repairing a retaining wall in front of a house. Had no luck with figures online. Anyone got any ballpark figures of how much a 4m wide 1m high retaining wall may cost to repair that currently has cracks down the front, deboned render and spalled brickwork? It's about 2m from the front of house which is on quite a steep hill.

Quite hard to even give a ballpark based on that description. Anything from £500 to repair existing to £4k for demolition, new footings, blockwork and render.

Is it retaining 1m of soil?

Very very rough guide, but approximately £1k per linear metre.

Have you considered ground anchors?
