Have to get this done this week. Do screwfix sell the right thing and is it easy to do?

It's in the small header tank for the central heating if it makes any difference?

Yes and yes if you've got spanners with enough leverage. The unions usually take a fair bit of cracking loose. It's easier if there are two of you, one to hold one spanner and the other to turn. You have to be careful not to apply too much force to the tank hence the suggestion of a helper.

Turn water off at the mains, replace and turn water back on. One person remains in the loft at turn on in case of leakage.

Cheers, it was installed 30+ years ago so should be easy enough to loosen off lol.
Isolator stopcock thing is just below so flooding will be minimal.
