Sleepers .... Again

I've recently fitted a load of sleepers to help level my garden.
In some places its 800mm high, not really high but i've a toddler who is toddling.
I plan to fit some sort of balcony on it. I've looked at decking spindles & newel posts but cant find any way to secure the newel posts cleanly.
I seen a product on sale in the US but cant seem to find anything similar for sale in the UK.
