The chimney part of my stainless extractor fan has gone missing in storage.

I can only find replacements at £35+ which seems a bit ridiculous for a bent bit of stainless when I can buy a complete extractor for £55

Before I buy some sheet and make one - is there a sensibly priced source ?

What size sheet you gonna buy? It aint cheep and doubt you're going to save much wink Assuming it's round can you form it, spot weld it to a reasonable finish? Will it match the canopy?

It's just the normal square section with an open back so at a guess 20x60cm x3 ie 60x60cm sheet with two bends in it

£35 isn't terrible, considering material and tooling costs if you're doing it on a CNC mahine. We have mill finish or chrome at work if you wanted me to knock one up though?
