I recently replaced my brakes with Green Stuff pads (front only) and bed them in according to the way I was told on here (10 slow downs of increasing pressure from 60-5mph) and whilst as they work well, they squeal terribly.

Is there any way to stop them squealing, every time I brake it's a nightmare!

ISTR there is a backing plate that needs to go in with the pads. Check the EBC site for more details but i thi9nk it's an optional thing.

Mine does it too, since I had 500 calipers and grooved discs. I have mintex pads as well .
When you get an answer let me know as it is pissing me off.

Mine don't squeel, they make a deep noise when hot though!
