Treadmill advice

I am doing the london marathon (this will be my second time) next year.

I don't want to spend all of the winter dark months running outside, so am looking for a treadmill to go in a spare bedroom at home.

Currently have it down to a couple of models.

Nordic Track 1750 Commercial
Life Fitness F3
Life Firness T3

I was originally going with folding, although it isn't the end of the world if it doesn't and the longer belt of the T3 seems a better choice.

Anyone have any experience of these, or others I might consider?

Funny this has come up as I was just looking at second hand ones on eBay due to going a bit stir crazy this week due to snowy / slippery pavements. Hoping to get out for a 5k tonight before beer and a longer run over the weekend now it's thawed

LifeSpan, ProForm and NordicTrack seem to be the better ones. Will be watching this thread with interest.

Karma mechanic had a thread the other week in hgdiy forum trying to get rid of a treadmill for little/no money but the mods deleted it. Might be worth a pm to them

We bought the DKN EzRun.

It is really good. Very solid and smooth to run on.

My one has a relatively short belt, so more appropriate for uphill walking than serious running. Still cluttering up the conservatory until I get motivated to dispose of it.

We bought a DKN Roadrunner a couple of months ago, and all was fine until it broke over a week ago. Vendor/manufacturer in no rush to resolve the problem - despite daily chasing. With Christmas coming up, I fear it’s not going to be sorted until well in to January . The machines get good reviews online, but aftersales seems a bit dodgy.

On the plus side, I bought a couple of “winter” running tops, and I’ve actually really quite enjoyed running outdoors instead. Even though it’s cold, wet and muddy - and I got caught in a hail storm the other day
