bought a cd /radio early jan online with a credit card, found radio does not work

contacted seller , they suggested sedning it back and they have a look , assumed /hoped id get a replacement in the return post

2 weeks have passed now - i just want what i paid for in working order

should i email and suggest they keep it and i claim on section 75 ? does that all sound above board ad legit?

i have spoke to the seller , they have the unit and have now had it longer than i have

was hoping my next contact could sort it one or another ..i have a suspicion im going to get messed around

Good.

Now email the Supplier and inform them that you intend submitting a Section 75 Claim with your cc provider as there seems to be no movement on this issue.

You can also mention the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if you feel so inclined.

If nothing happens, contact your cc provider and fill out the form they send you.

any particular part of the consumer act i should mention?

and is there anything out there that gives a reasonble timesscale for replacment or repair?

1. No need to even mention it. Just have a read of it.

2. I would email once you feel frustrated enough to start a topic on a motoring site. It usually elicits a reaction.
