Are we being 'trolled' systematically?
Discussion
I see a bit of a pattern emerging. Every few days a new memeber pops up and declares something along the lines of:
"If you don't like speed cameras then don't speed"
or
"Speedophile"
etc, etc
Are we being trolled from a cycling forum or something? Or is it the same sad individual, re-resgistering with different logins?

Well, there's the M4 camera body in revenue row
And then the Speed camera tried to kill me with the speedophile comment
Both of which lead to this thread
And a few weeks ago there was a similar, "don't speed then" sort of nonsense from Funkyrobot
Not saying that these people don't have the right to argue on a forum. That's almost it's purpose, but it does seem to much of a coincidence, and more like trolling than "spirited discussions!"
removed cycling: nothing actually wrong with it!

You want to get yourself over to the tuscan forum. we get at least one new troll every week.
Tried to get into the Tuscan forum.. but it was having a rebuild!
Moleski's new model then:
I give you....
The new "TVR Troll"
Produced at the rate of one a week, guaranteed to get noticed, makes a lot of noise, goes back to meet its maker within a relatively short space of time.

like this guy? apparantly motorways are killers. Yet riding a cycle without insurance, never needing to take any sort of testing to ensure competant levels nor paying for upkeep of the roads through taxation is OK?
Imagine this, all car owners can go freely about there business without testing or insurance. Chaos.
So why are bikes allowed freely? ; and then decide they have the knowledge to spout about road safety?
In the terms of charity begins at home: get all bikes to take tests and pay insurance and tax, and then your argument can have some ears.
Its a bitter pill to swallow being dictated to by someone that has no intention of self rule.
get your own house in order first!

Weird as I understand it Paul Smith is for safer roads for everybody. Including cyclists. But they dont like him... Possibly they feel the need for more danger and excitement while riding their bikes?
(p.s. the only accidents between me on a bike and cars have all happened under the speed limit....)
The answer then; make cyclists take out insurance policies. As a cyclist I've had one for the last 18 years. It's at least some reassurance when encountering dickheads on the roads whether they be on two wheels or more.
BTW, don't assume all cylists are anti-speed or freaking arse-holes.
As a cyclist/motorist I feel like I'm being 'trolled' by threads imbued with this sort of attitude.

I think we should try and get away from the cycling aspect of this. I know I put "from a cycling forum" at the top, but it's largly irrelevant.
The point I was trying to make, is that an identical type of troll seems to be posting under different logins.
That means either very similar people (from the same forum?) or the same person is trolling.
Or is the term troll too much, as some people have suggested? I don't know, I'm just up for
man!
