The sad truth is that people do care, which is evident by the publisher of this thread and the many manufacturers putting so much effort in to getting their 'ring times down and bragging about them as a marketable statistic.

Even the fact we're talking about this shows people care.

I would never buy a car or show interest in a car really based off of it's 'ring time, as it's irrelevant in the real world of driving day to day. But people do care.
