Best pressure washer
Discussion
My Karcher K2 has decided to stop with no pressure. I would presume it would be a waste of money trying to fix it after 3-4 years.
If not has anyone got suggestions for a new one?
Autoexpress has its top models in the article below.
Is Karcher still worth buying or has the other opposition moved ahead? Karcher K4 Full Control Pressure Washer seems to get good reviews.
Thank you in advance.

I'm on my 3rd Karcher which has just died too. This one has lasted about 10 years and had plenty of frequent use so I'd happily replace with another.
The earlier one's didn't last very long 3-4 years but they seem to have improved judging by my last one.
Thank you for your response. 10 years is very impressive. Did you get it serviced at all during that time? The earlier one's didn't last very long 3-4 years but they seem to have improved judging by my last one.
Screw fix has the Katcher K4 for £159.99 on offer.
If you want to stick with electric, this gets my vote.

Can recommend one of these, similar to a K2 for cost/use. I only use it for the car but has been great so far.

Karcher have an online out let shop.
Basically customer returns that are refurbished and look like new.
Aldi and Lidl sometimes have washer on offer too.
I seem to remember Nilfisk having good reviews too

Opposite experience for me, I had an old Karcher K200 which survived 16 or 17 years before I replaced it with a Nilfisk last year. Whereas a few mates have had issues with their Karchers bought over the past few years. The earlier one's didn't last very long 3-4 years but they seem to have improved judging by my last one.
My battered and neglected old Karcher was getting a bit noisy, but still worked, and has been passed on to relatives for occasional patio cleaning duty.
Quite pleased with the new Nilfisk machine though. Think it's a C135, cost about £150 with patio cleaner and various other gubbins included.

I have one and it's a pain in the a&rse to carry and the cable and hose get in the way. Might last on long time but will also irritate for a long time too.https://www.elitecarcare.co.uk/product/kranzle-k10...

No, don't believe in servicing these things. Only serviced my mower three time since 1993, it's a Honda and still running strong on original everything apart from blades. When it goes bang I have a few hundred quid to put towards it that I would have paid out for servicing it.Screw fix has the Katcher K4 for £159.99 on offer.
