I currently drive a VW Scirocco 1.4 twin charged and have been looking to change it for a bit. I've looked at 8V A3's , 1, 2 and 4 series M sports and so on but after looking at them all I can't part with the Scirocco.
So I have been looking at what looks like a bargain of a Scirocco R on ebay. It's a 62 plate DSG with just over 25k miles. My only reservations are the fact that the mileage is so low and it's DSG (are they reliable). It's up for 12k Ono and I just can't stop looking at it. What's your thoughts ? Anyone ever owned one and what are they like to live with

Unbelievable cars, really loved mine.
That said, the negatives. The doors are absolutely huge so it can be a bit awkward in car parks, and any water sitting on the roof will drip in through the window as there are no water channels. Mine chewed through three sets of front Contisport Contact 5Ps in 14000 miles and averaged 23mpg, and I didn't drive it particularly hard.
Amazing car though.
