'twas a shame to see so few of them on the track. Did I miss their session or were there really very few Esprits on the circuit. I was looking forward to seeing them hooning it around. I've seen more than enough Elises and they don't quite have the presence of the Esprit. Would have been great to see a handful of them together.

Ted, The early ones tend to be a little fragile to risk them. I may be doing the owners an injustice (now Ive sold mine), but that was definitly the case....anything pre the S4 just cannot cope from a brakes point of view (the discs warp) and a lot of newer owners dont go near tracks (in the same way 355 owners dont)...which is a shame cos they are a much better track car than almost anything else Ive driven (a well driven V8-GT will murder a 355 on most tracks....) (please subsitutue the word 'murder' for 'just stay ahead of - poetic license required!) who knows eh? Night
