Hi.
Looking to buy an impact wrench to remove wheels for detailing etc.

Don’t really want to spend a fortune on one.

Any recommendations please.

Cheers.

Dave.

Depends on your budget but for use now and again this would be fine.
Some of the cheaper ones may struggle to crack a wheel nut that may have been air gunned up too much.

Just to add if you think your going to need other tools in the future the Ryobi one range is ok for the home diyer.
I run multiple tools from them in garage and garden etc and find them very good.

Are you ok with a corded one? Machine mart do a big and very powerful one that’s not expensive, but it’s corded. I gave mine away when I realised how painful the cord was, but then i use it regularly, not just for wheels every so often.

I have a compressor, so o got a gun for that which is much smaller and easier to use. But an airline is just as painful as the cord.

Then I blew a load on a cordless dewalt one and the airline doesn’t leave the wall mount now. hehe

Got any other battery tools already? That'll keep your costs down.

I have a dewalt dcf899 and it's very good.

Wouldn't bother with anything corded. Not as strong and not portable.

I bought a fake Makita as I already had other Makita tools and thus batteries, best £27 I've ever spent!

Snap. Wish I had purchased one sooner. Also factor in a decent set of impact sockets.
