The installation of the camera system is just one of a range of road safety measures being undertaken through the multi-agency task force, the A77 Safety Group.
Here it is again, 'selection on bias' (RTTM) and more significantly 'bias on selection'.
When they tot up the stats in 3 years time, how much credit do you think the partnerships will give to the rest of the 'range of road safety measures'? none!
How much credit will go to the cameras? ALL!
Actual effectiveness of said cameras? NIL!
This ‘bias on selection’ effect was not included in Linda Mountain’s RTTM analysis; I know this because I actually asked her.
These camera partnerships are absolutely despicable
