Changing glow plugs on my wife’s Cooper SD at the weekend. I’ve heard lots of horror stories regarding snapping glow plugs, so I plan to start soaking them in advance before removing.
My question is, what’s best to use to help?
Plus Gas? AC90?
Suggestions or experience with replacing them would be welcome!

Plusgas would be my choice, and do it with the engine hot.
Beru (I think) quote a snapping torque for their plugs - the theory is if you loosen with a torque wrench set below that amount, you won't be able to put enough torque in to snap them if they are stuck.
