Bmw e90 n52

Have a problem and I'm wondering if i could receive some advice please.I have a 330i n52 80k that has a fault when accelerating at high revs only has a misfire on cylinder 6 and throws blue lightish smoke ,the car has then to be turned off and restarted before engine runs on all six again .changed coil packs and plugs thanks in advance.

Any codes or EML on the dash?

Does the issue only occur when accelerating hard?

Afaik, blue smoke suggests burning oil.

hi thanks for the reply ,the only code is misfire code cylinder 6 and yes only high revs

Sounds like the crankcase breather might be blocked. They are simple and cheap to replace.

Hi thanks for your reply I have the earlier rocker cover with breather pipe rear of rocker cover and lower oil separator under inlet manifold ,what do you suggest I check and replace many thanks
