Engine Belt Part No.

Hi all,

I ordered a belt for my 2009 4.7 Vantage, as even though the milage is low, the car is now almost 12 years old so better be safe than sorry.

I purchased a replacement from Scuderia parts, which list the respective part for the 4.7 V8 with part No. 9G33-8620-AB

I later looked at my car and the existing part has the no. 6G33-8620-BA (see attached image)

Could anybody advise if the one i got is the correct one (and maybe the part number has changed over the years) or if this part won't fit and need to return it.

Belt has been superseded to the part you have been supplied with but you will also need the updated pulley, have a look at the attached.

As far as I'm aware the following is true.
The BA belt is an earlier belt and was fitted to 4.3 engines these were updated to the AB belt, this also required one of the tensioner pulleys to be replaced to prevent squeaking, part number 9G33-19A216-AA
4.7 engines should have been fitted with new style belt and pulley, but it is possible as yours is an early 4.7 that it got the old style.

Thanks for the reply, that's great. I ordered the pulley as well, saw on their drawing that it was under the same number so though i'd get that one as well...
