I remember a while back someone asked about this but I haven't heard anything since. Has anyone managed to fit a V8 in a Tuscan and if so is it really practical?
All comments on engine reliability, whatever the model, please don't post here thanks.

cheers

Glenvargill in Scotland were talking about this a year ago. No idea if they made any progress on the idea.

That's a race tuscan however, not the recent Tuscan.

Thanks for the replies guys, I know there was a doubt if there was enough space laterally for a v8. Would love to see it though and I'm sure I'm not the only one

There is still doubt about a number of things. IIRC essentially you should be OK size wise and mating to the gearbox mechanically although the fibreglass in the bulkhead may (probably) need to be altered. Then there are associated problems - the steering rack looks difficult as does the digital display. Plus the exhaust headers. Would be nice to see someone do this though.
