Isn't it about time we have another of these?

Sunday 4th September, The Woodman in Ide Hill as usual.

I'll be in the missus' MR2 unless I've got a 'short-term' 205 to play with by then.

Aren't the TVR lads arranging to meet the Lotus guys on the 4th at the Woodman with all others invited (albeit haven't heard much more on this)?

Hiya

You beat me to it.

Yep - the plan is to be at The Woodman on Sunday 4th September - just got a message from the Lotus RO that they are still up for it so lets do it!!

We have our meet just up the road that day so will probably get to The Woodman for about 2.30 ish.

How does that sound to you lot

Bell & Colvill are supposed to be having a weekend event as well - may pop down there Sunday morning and drop in at the Woodman on the way back.

What's this? A breakaway undercover sub-plot?

Sounds cool.

Oi, Simon! You can come and play now.

By coincidence I've just received this email from the MR2 Drivers Club...

[quote]Hi everyone

We had a nice day with 27 cars for the Kent run in August starting from Ashford to Dungeness, through Tenterden and back to Ashford. Our next meeting is:-

September 4 Sunday – Pub Meeting at the Woodman
We are meeting at a different location this time. A quieter local pub with ample parking and food available. The Woodman can be found by leaving the M25 at junction 5 heading for Riverhead on the A21 then off on the A25 towards Sevenoaks then turn right onto the B2042 (Cold Arbor Road) between Riverhead and Edenbridge Road The Pub is a short drive along the country lane on the left. Meet at Noon.

We are meeting up with the Mark1 Club for this event. See website events page for details of the pub. www.mr2dcse.org.uk/

Hope to see you there

Happy driving MR2 Style

So that's the MR2 Drivers Club(mostly mkii) and the MR2 mki club together with all the Lotus and TVR boys and any other PH stragglers.

Gonna be a VERY big meet... get a table early!

Excellant,
I passed 4 or 5 of you guys last Monday near Westerham so thought maybe you had been at Ide Hill then. Looked over at the Grasshopper but it was full of Beemers.
Nice to say all the Cobra's waved, but not at me. I was in the Boxster following Tony in the Tuscan.Be good to see you guys again.

The Cobras are really busy this time of year trying to fit loads of fun in before the sunshine goes. We are busy every weekend in september. The biggest being Brands hatch on the 17th/18th (stand for 100 cobras). Look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.

Finally I have some time free - will be there in the Sport 160. Kent Lotus are off to a steam rally somewhere but I'll see if I can drum up some interest...

Kev, see you there?

No, it was an absolute piece of crap. I would list what was wrong with it, but I haven't got all night.

So, still looking...
