Discussion
There's a for sale thread at the top of this forum. Its worth a try before ebay or selling to a retailer like Watchfinder, both of whom will take a large cut.
Send me a pm and then email a pic if you want and I'll try to give you an idea of value.
Or look at ebay to see what watches sold for. Ignore the asking prices of advertised watches, mopst of which are speculative and silly.
If you can get the back off, there will be a 6 or seven digit number inside the caseback. It's the case reference number and will help buyers confirm that the watch is all genuine. The serial number on the watch movement can be decoded to obtain a recise year of manufacture. Having both of these can help you get a bit more for the watch.

Thanks for the advice
Not being a frequent flyer on this 'ere section of PH, I'd completely missed the Buying / Selling sticky thread on the top of the page
I'll investigate getting the back off to get the serial number, as that seems like a good "belt 'n braces" thing for a potential purchaser.
It'll not breach £1.5k, though. It's a lovely thing that keeps time and has a nice, brushed champagne dial with date. But the face has a couple of brown patina "dots" and currently wears a non-Omega brown leather deployment clasp strap.
