Share a photo to remember lost loved ones this Christmas

I'm not sure if something like thishas been started as a thread before.
Christmas can be a difficult time for those who have lost a loved one. We lost gran 12/08/2022 aged 100, yes she lived a very long, fruitful life, and we were indeed fortunate to have her around so long, but before deteriorating, she was such a fiercely independent, strong woman, you expect her to be around forever.
So please, as you see fit, share a photograph or a memory of a loved one you're missing this Christmas, like a virtual rememberance as it were.
Here is gran, someone who hated her photograph being taken, but it left me with my favourite photo I've taken of her.

This was the amazing Pat O’Doherty
We teach english conversation to Ukrainians and Pat died about five weeks ago.
She was a women of amazing energy and compassion. It was only after her funeral that we were ,ade aware of what a giving life she had led. We remain in awe of what she accomplished.
Yesterday we had our end of year concert which was dedicated to her.
I think we did her proud, although she is a hard act to follow
RIP Pat. You are much missed
Lost my mum 7 years ago,she was massively into all
Xmas and her birthday is Xmas Day so I find it doubly s
t.
Dad didn’t last too long after, he was broken after their 62 years together. This is my favourite photo of him, after I’d bought an XJ to surprise him.It became Readers car of the week on here which helped massively with my grief at the time.
