My garage roof has moss on one side. I need to get up there with a power washer and get it all off.
In the past I had a guy up there to fix a broken tile but he had the physique of a greyhound.

I am not big, but I am 13 stone.

Garage built in 2006. I have no idea what is under the tile.

How are we supposed to know with no pictures?

He’s 13 stone so I have a mental picture lol.

I think the op is asking if concrete tiles will hold his weight as opposed to the structure of the roof.

OP:, you can buy pressure washer attachments for long reach, you probably don’t need to get up there.

You will be absolutely fine. There are plenty of 13 stone roofers out there.

Sorry I should have said yes they are concrete type tiles about 20mm thick.

They are flat rather than curved.

hehe

Could you borrow a roof ladder?

Much safer and less chance of breaking tiles!

Thinking about it I have a window cleaning pole. I could attach (gaffa tape) the patio scrubber to the end of that.... that might be a better idea?

As it’s free and less likely to damage you, gotta be worth a go

Mine easily supports my weight, and I'm substantially heavier than you, OP.

Why?
Do you need your garage to look like a new Barratt house?

^ Agreed. Moss is fantastic stuff for the environment and green is a really cool colour. Each cell can reproduce itself, just like cloning.

Because the birds go up there and peck it off and then throw it on my car.

I wouldn’t jet wash it off I’d scrape it off. I used a guy on here who owns a cleaning business as the house we bought was covered with moss. He did a great job

You will be fine at 13 stone on a pitched roof.

We had a two man team clean my garage and house roof last year, because of moss buildup and fallout onto the paths and patio.

What was interesting is that the houses with flat tiles on this estate have a problem, but those with wavy roof tiles do not.
