Hi, I don’t have the original service book unfortunately but I do have an A4 folder full of history including service invoices and MoT’s etc. Too many to upload! I could upload the invoices for the most recent works completed last year for the engine rebuild and works underside?

Hi, Lovely looking car. Do you have any pictures of the areas which are bubbling? Who carried out the recent engine work? Any chance of a look at eh invoices for that? Cheers

Hi, if you zoom in to photo 25 of the exterior. Looking at the front of the car there is a small area of bubbling on the bumper just to the right of the indicator. Re the invoices. I’ll get these added. The works were completed by Classic Restorations in Alyth. Cheers

Hi, I’ll upload the invoice files this evening but have confirmed the total bill came to £18k. Parts included new cylinder liners and pistons ( not just seals!) and new set of head stud bolts etc. No expense spared! Invoices fully detail the works carried out.

Hi, I’ve passed on the invoice images to Pistonheads and they will add to the advert documents.

Hi - this looks a beautiful car but just one quick question - you seem to have done a lot of driving/miles since the modest mileage at the 2018 MOT until now is that correct?

Hi,

Just to let you know, the extensive service documents have now been added to the documents section on the advert.

Best wishes

Regarding the mileage question, the MoT records the mileage as 30,599 in 2018. That is 130,599. These old odometers don’t go beyond 99,999… so start from 0 at 100k. Note the mileage now is 132k… so I’ve done a couple of thousand miles since then. I only drive her locally and in the summer months.

Hi.

My laptop isn't able to enlarge the invoices so that they are readable.
What other engine work was carried out when the pistons and cyls
were replaced? Any cylinder head work, ie, valves or guides, cam
chains, big ends, main bearings etc?
Do you have any pics of the underside of the car?
I would like to view the car but unfortunately I'm in Switzerland until
next week by which time the auction will have finished.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, the car colour is original Emerald Green metallic. Interior is original black but I suspect the front leatherette seat covers have been replaced at some point. Regarding the engine, I can confirm it’s the original with matching numbers. Not sure about the gearbox to be honest. No evidence of any change in the history file.

Hi Andy, engine was stripped and components cleaned. New parts recorded on the invoice - cylinder liners and pistons, head stud bolts and seals/gaskets. Note a new clutch kit was fitted when the engine was out.

I have a photo log of the works done but I don't actually have a photo of the finished article! The most significant works on the underside was a replacement luggage compartment floor. There were other bits addressed too....basically everything that needed done was done.
