Shower tray dropped 5mm splitting silicone- best repair?

It's dropped a out 5mm against wall and pulled silicone off. Been installed about 2 years

Got a 100mm upright of ply between floor and tray so could get underneath, just, but doubt I could lift tray from that position

I've seen sealant strips that could form an 'L' shape seal between tray top and tiles after removing existing silicone...any good?

Would a big bead of silicone be better/worse?

How has it dropped 5mm?

Seems to me, it probably needs to come out and have a new floor under it?
If it was installed a couple of years ago, the tray should probably have been sealed to tile backing boards?

Whether any easier repair might work might depend on exactly what's happened and what the walls are made of etc.

Is the tray on adjustable legs or mounted to a ply plinth? If its adjustable legs will it wind up?

If not then id get the below ordered, id flush fill the gap with dow jones bathroom silicone then fit this over the top and then seal its edges - can all be done in one go. just get yourself a silicone profiling set and a big tub of wipes and get decent silicone

Last time I was asked to look at a dropped tray it was only the silicone stopping it falling into the kitchen.
