But that's a realistic value for a trade in, my 06 (07 model) car wasn't being bid much more on car wow, etc.

Trying to make you feel more confident.
How much was the DB5 model advertised for, at it's low point ?
Perhaps that might have been during the strike ridden, mid 1970s recession.

So all you've got to do is keep it another 50 years and keep it in nice running order, and it'll be worth a fortune....or not.
Just take solace in the thought that you could have one of the best looking pieces of automotive art or a Vauxhall Corsa for £20k

I bought this, very happy with it. Picked up in Edinburgh, drove down to Portsmouth for the ferry to Bilbao then drove to Barcelona for the ferry to Palma, didn’t miss a beat.
