Hi, for the right price I could leave the plate, otherwise it will revert to YN54HJD

Hi, the 996 turbo has a Mezger engine and has a closed deck crankcase so does not suffer from borescore

Great looking 996 Turbo — thanks for the detailed advert. I just had a few questions:

Beyond routine servicing, have any of the known 996 Turbo weak points been addressed?
-(e.g. coolant pipes pinned/welded, turbo condition or rebuilds, suspension refresh, radiators/condensers, ignition coils, etc.)

-Are the coolant pipes original or have they been secured as a preventative measure?

-What’s the condition of the turbos — any smoke, noise, or previous work?

-Has the suspension had any recent refresh (arms, top mounts, dampers)?

-Radiators and condensers — original or replaced/cleaned recently?

-Ignition coils and spark plugs — when were they last done?

-Could you confirm the age of the tyres? From the photos they appear to be around 2017 — please could you confirm DOT date codes and condition?

Any other notable work or preventative maintenance carried out recently?

Many thanks

Hi thanks for your message, I am away from the car and paperwork until tomorrow so can’t confirm date of tyres.
O/s N/r side and centre rads were replaced in previous ownership as were suspension top mounts.
I don’t know if any work has been carried out previously to the turbos but I assume not due to milage and comprehensive servicing. Coolant pipes all look in good condition so they may have been replaced at sometime. I had the spark plugs replaced on major service about 2 years ago and have done few miles since, I believe they need renewing every 4 years.
Hope this helps

Hi, thanks for the detailed response — that’s really helpful.

I’m definitely still interested if the car doesn’t sell and gets listed again. In that case, I’d much prefer to come and view it in person before placing a bid.

Please feel free to let me know if that happens.
