Hi, yes the Alpina has cruise control that you set and then you can set the distance you want to be from the car in front so if they slow down the Alpina slows down also. There is also a setting where the car will come to a stop automatically and cut out the engine which you can override. Hope this helps?

No , the car has never been in a road accident. The front spring went on the drivers side and the recovery team managed to pull off the splitter. They admitted liability so the smaller bill relates to this repair. There were a few scratches on it so that is an improvement!
While it was in I asked for alloys to be refurbished and a dent on the tailgate to be repaired. As they are the official BMW repair centre they insisted on a new tailgate. They also repaired all minor scratches. So that is the bill for £3k. The small bill for a couple of hundred was for the supply and fitting of the new “Alpina” and “B3S” logos.
The original owner had the lower half of the car wrapped in plastic. There are 2 very small stone chips on the bonnet (3mm each ?) but these would require the plastic wrapping to be removed. On balance I thought the ongoing protection outweighed the minor cosmetic blemish. They have just been touched in by hand by the Detailer.
