nah, you want adventure, you want to get yourselves over to Taggia in Northern Italy for the San Benedetto festival which is around Valentines Day (gets you out of the country and away from the War Office....) each year.

Basically celebrates the occasion of being spared by the invading Saracens (they set fires in the village to make it look like it had already been pillaged) and there's lots of home made fireworks and drink. Didn't hear another English or non-Italian voice whilst I was there and everyone warned us not to go as it's too dangerous. Marvellous. There's a local by law so that hard liquer can't be sold on that evening, only wine and beer.

Do any of you adventurous PHers fancy running with the bulls at Pamplona? It is on my list of things to do before (possibly seconds before) I die. Would be good to have a PH posse there, whadya say?
