tyres

I know this subject has been debated countless times but i'm in the market for a new set of tyres for mt M400. The only people who seem to be able toq uote me corsas are silverline and blackcircles,cheapest by a long way were silverline-£956 inc VAT and del. This seems about right does it not?
I have had cheaper quotes for:- P zero nero
P zero system asimmetrico
_ P zero rosso asimmetrico
Tuese were quoted by 'mytyres' but presume no good for M400?
SOrry to raise this well 'hacked' subject again but any thoughts would be most welcome!

Those tires don't grip nearly as well as the Corsa, and in fact are probably just a bit down in dry grip from the old Bridgestone S03 Pole Position that come stock on the M12 GTO-3R.

has anyone tried them on the Noble ?

They are great in the dry. Not really been out on them in the rain, but I am told they are a bit tricky.

They do have very loud road noise thpough.




Stock replacements for the SO3's are the Perelli PZero rosso's, or the Bridgstone potenze RE050's.

Either will do fine and are very good in the wet and dry.

I never found anyone cheaper than Bracknell Tyre and Battery for new shoes. They're a little rough and ready but they spank them out of the door cheap and appreciate the cars they're working on.

AS I have said above, Rosso's are the factory replacement for the SO3's.

NOT the "systems" as some foreign numpty has stated above.

I`ve just had 4 x pirelli P Zero Corsa Rosso`s [assimetrico`s]fitted to my 3R. Kwik-Fit, fitted at my home total cost £539.50 inc vat. Don`t know what their like compared to the SO3`s havent had a chance to go out yet, these are what the factory advised me to put on as a good allround tyre. Pirelli are doing a deal at the moment buy 4 tyres and get 25% discount.

Blimey, that's a good deal (assuming the tyres work OK?!)!

Can you tell me the exact type and sizes to ask for please?

These cant be 'corsa's',i've tried them for a quote and they're quoting Rosso's.They also told me discount only applies if you buy 4 tyres the same,ie 4 rears or 4 fronts!!

Tyres fitted are; P Zero rosso 265/35 ZR 18 rear £178 x 2 = £356
P Zero rosso 225/40 ZR 18 front £143 x 2 = £286

25% Pirelli discount -£160.50

Valves and balance £8.50 x 4 = £34

Tyre disposal £1 x 4 = £4

Mobile fitting £20

TOTAL £539.50
Have now had a chance to go for a drive, feels very good, grip on dry roads as good as before. Does not seem to be as much road noise either. I am very happy with them, just hope their Ok in the wet, but pretty confident that they will be.

Been quoted around £635 for the rosso's from local Kwik Fit, even after the 4 for price of 3 deal
