I've got a good feeling about this campaign. A feeling I didn't have for the last couple of seasons.

Even the new kit looks good. hehe Last time we had a nice kit (with the string on the front) we started winning everything in sight.

Saha is a class act and will blossom in the absence of Ruud. As for Giggs - haven't seen him play this well for a while. He just seems to be getting better.

I was a little despondant about the loss of Horseface.

However seeing the cavalry tactics that can now be deployed without his turgid presence it's converted me. I reckon that what we are really seeing is the death of the Beckham team ie accurate distance passing to split defences > goalhanger to a free ranging pace attack.

I like it.

With the Arse now playing interesting football, Liverpool getting it back together and Chelski leaking a bit we are in for a most entertaining season.

I was glad he went to be honest. His face became longer when Rooney arrived. As great a goalscorer that he is, I think he was a bit of a mard. A trait that many Dutch players have.

The futures bright, its not orange.

Ahhhh, but if it's the Manchester flavour you're talking about...

There's a roadblock ahead on Saturday

i always thought a "true" united was where there was only one united in the town/city, eg - newcastle (hence the town/city was united)

not the case in manchester, is it?

Wednesday play saturdays and Stockport is not a county. Liverpool have the temerity to suggest they are the only club in town. Aston Villa is a shed and The Arsenal is nowhere near an Arsenal. And as for Port Vale. Call that a port? Vale = industrial wasteland.

All should quake before the majesty that is united. Colchester. Scourge of Europe. United as one.

You'll be telling us next that Lancashire CC don't play in Lancashire!

I've got a Manchester postcode so I don't care

i think the difference is in the arrogance of man utd fans claiming to be the only united when it is clearly not the case

to use one of your examples, it would be like wednesday claiming to to be the only team in sheffield
