Can someone please give me a pointer as to what I'm doing wrong.

On our existing website, the navigation menu bar works fine.

The properties for the menu button :

I've added a new page and when I create a button, the properties show as :

The button works in browser preview mode but not when uploaded to the web.

All the code for the menu items looks the same but they are not displayed, almost as if I have not uploaded correctly.

Any assistance much appreciated.

Is .png a recognised format? What did you use to create the button?

Long time since i've used dreamweaver for creating menus..

Did you use Firworks to create that .png? I'm guessing it needs to be converted to .jpg!

png is perfectly fine for web stuff. It's the successor to the GIF format.

Yeah, but PNG doesn't get displayed by firefox at the moment...
...is this what web browser you are using?

png should work with firefox, i've been recently doing some web design stuff myself using pngs and firefox. png has been around for years, even IE has supported it from its first incarnation.
