Highland 996 C4S shoot!
Discussion
When Glen asked me to photograph his 996 C4S in the Highlands I jumped at the chance. It's a stunning motor that combines the 996 Turbo's best bits while being a bit less of a ballistic missile! Best bit was driving over the mountains on the road to Tomintoul!!! My Box struggled to keep up! Rest of the pics on my site to save modems! www.justhypemedia.com
I only live 20 miles away from the roads in question....and the 996 is sitting outside doing nothing.....hmmm inspiring stuff!
(Wifey looking over shoulder mentioning shopping instead of a thrash - tough call!)
Just had a look at the website - some fantastic pix in there.

Fantastic pictures.....
Though I'm sure you don't want to share all your pro secrets here, how do you get those "colour filter" effects? The pictures look like a screen shot from Top Gear and i know they use lens filters on their cameras. Do you do the same or do it all on a PC?
This picture,
is awesome. Is it easy to pick out the red and yellow from a photo or do you have to apply a black and white filter manually to the rest of the photo?

Glad you like the pics!!
I was thinking my shots are a bit "TopGear" last night when I was watching a repeat! I used to do some film stuff and my style was the same - lots of colour and contrast.
I dont mind sharing at all. You can use a mixture of filters on the lens to bring out the highlights in the sky (best way) or can do it in Photoshop like I do on my Mac. You can adjust for shadow and highlight then use the selective colour tool to bring out each element or colour.
The B&W pic was a request by the owner of the car, Dean. I basically removed all the colours one by one until I was left with red and yellow. Then I adjusted the black, neutral and white levels + contrast. Just a bit of practice that's all!
