Thought not. But just in case...

Client writes: 'Another idea, which came to me when scrolling through the archive news: how difficult would it be to have the buttons, logo and page heading fixed in an invisible frame so that, if the information on the page had to scroll, the buttons etc. didn’t move?'

In other words he wants the page contents to scroll within a fixed frame. Does FP do this?

Thanks!

You can do it with Frames but frames arent much cop from a web spider or compliancy point of view.

You could do what the client wants using CSS.

I almost did it!

Insert > Inline Frame > drag to size and add contents. Bloody marvellous! I can scroll up and down inside the box perfectly and the rest of the page stays fixed.

I saved it with the original name so that the links would still work, then reopened it and it looked perfect. I had visions of my client handing me a wad of notes with a big grin and saying 'Great job Simpo, have some extra cash!'.

Pah. As a final check I closed down FP and fired it up again - and to my disamy the new page with the lovely frame has lost all the outside (ie fixed) part and all I get is what was in the box, justified left.

I think the fix is simple but can't think what - any ideas?

You overestimate me I just checked out CSS's and made one. Pasted the page in and all I got was the text justified left, in a different font, with no pictures...
