Any recommendations for a simple, free tool for editing MP3 files (specifically, opening a file and deleting most of it leaving only the intro)??

Cheers

I've used the demo version of www.blazeaudio.com/ for creating an intros for a quiz - piece of the proverbial to use.

Sorry for the delay in posting. Had to wait until I got home to check what I use.

A simple editor utility I use is mp3DirectCut which is freeware and doesn't decompress and then recompress with a subsequent loss of quality. You just delete (or add) blocks of data.
