With the cost of the panels and lights, you could buy a facelift 996 I would have thought. Doubt very much you'd get any money back come resale.

There was someone on here who did a 997 conversion if you do a search.

Don't bother. Not worth a W@NK when you want to sell it.

Hi I agree dont bother buy a facelifted one with the cash if you really want one.

I have an early 996 and the only one I have seen offered for sale with a facelift was about the same price.

Im putting a new front end on mine (GT3) but only cos the sides were already there and ahem..I may have slightly bumped a friends car at lemons this year ahem....

If your determined Design911 do front end converions lights and panels and spray etc. www.design911.co.uk

Don't do it.

Spend the money on a better, later 3.4 or stretch to a 3.6 facelift.

Updating an earlier car will be expensive and probably devalue it, as it won't be original (important with Porsches) and people may think it's been repaired

I think the cost is around £2500, 80% or more of which you'll lose come re-sale time.

Jasmine do the complete job too.

I think you would be better off to just buy a 3.6 after all anyone in the know would know it was a 3.4 done up to look like a 3.6.

buy magic torch's car.

its the best 3.4 you will ever see and once you have spent two weeks going over the extensive options list you would have forgotten what a facelift looks like
