he's not in the greatest of form for him.but when he's on fire he's outstanding.
One of his strengths is his concentration- he can have bugger all to do for 89 minutes but he can pull off a world class save in the 90th.
Yes, did see him make a couple of those late ones last season which saved you points. But he's flapping a bit this season!

arsenal certainly haven't got anything to be ashamed off.
(apart from the odd rugby tackle laugh )

twas a good game in the end. i though kompany was a bit harsh but wasnt he already on a yellow? should've been a second yellow rather than a straight red.

It couldn't be a yellow. If the ref thinks it's 2 footed, it's a straight red. If he doesn't think it's 2 footed then it's a fair tackle. No option for a yellow in that situation.

i don't think it was really advice, afterall the majority of away teams will always go and acknowledge the travelling fans.
I guess he's just another who thinks it was expensive smile

Was mooted as a future Colin Bell.

Total waste of space. Let's move on.

I remember watching him when he came on to the scene i thought he'd be a huge star, he seemed to have maturity in the way he played, always found himself in space.

Couldn’t have been more wrong in hindsight.

he was a star in an average team. shame he didn't come through the ranks in the last couple of years, as he might have had his feet kept on the floor.

gerrard had similar injuries to johnson in his late teens and early 20s. i seem to remember him becoming a half decent footballer once over them!

i remember him playing- At the time I thought he looked good aswell but tbh I'd forgotten all about him.
Total wate of talent and opportunity
I'm sure in a few years time he'll look back and think "I ****ed that up"
or he'll blame someone else.

I didn't see this coming at all. I thought it was an illegal tackle under the current laws of the game and called it a red as soon as it happened. Am really glad as a football fan that the appeal has worked. We need more full blooded crunching fair challenges.
