Is it secure enough to have banking e-mails sent to it?

Cheers.

Would depend how secure your password is, as a start - remember that it would probably take only your mothers maiden name (or something) to get your hotmail password once the address is known.

Hotmail is just as secure as any other web based email service out there i have my bank details sent to my email and have used online banking for years. just remember to keep you hotmail password safe and not to use easy to crack passwords so use letters and number to make it hard as possible also make sure your secret question is not easy for someone to crack either. Apart from that any emails you recieve from your bank make sure you dont click on links in them if they ask you to go to there site manually type it in a web browser that way its harder to be cought out with phishing emails http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phishing . Finally banks will never ask you for you username and password so never give it to them in an email.

hope this help a little

I have used internet banking for years and can honestly say that my bank has never sent me an email regarding it. I dont know what they would want to send you? With regards to other emails from the bank they just tend to be spam like you would get through the post so nothing that would be any use to anyone at all.
