Firstly a major thumbup to Event Mobile Tyres who just turned up on time at my house and changed both my rear tyres in 30mins with absolutely no problems. Good job and highly recommended.

I now have a set of 295/30/19 Michelin Pilot Sports on my 997C2S and wanted to get the collective view on the correct pressures for everyday driving.

The car manual recommends 38 - 41 psi depending on the weight load in the car. The Event guy mentioned that a lot of Porsche owners run lower pressures for comfort.

So, for everyday driving what's the correct pressures I should be using?

In total I ended up paying £470 for full fitting of the two rears. Not the cheapest but it was totally hassle free and I didn't have much choice. Had a puncture so only options were to get Porsche Assist to recover to either OPC or other place for fitting (not good idea to drive on flat..).

My local OPC has a two week wait and my local Kwik Fit were charging over £600 so thought it would be a good choice. The guy turned up on time and only took 30mins for the whole thing. Very careful and no damage to my alloys so overall very impressed.

Apparently they have no Pirellis at all and only 15 sets of Michelins at the moment (apparently a major shortage in the country..) so you may want to get your order in asap..!
