7-8 hours of really, really good fun. Then it's over. You probably won't play it again. If it works for you financially buy it. It's really good fun (while it lasts).
i would definitely agree with this, with the caveat that if you have a few mates you can play with on co-op with a similar sense of fun/mischief you can get a lot more than the 7/8 hours out of it. the possibilities for enjoyment are fairly endless with two of you such is the game's sandbox nature. it's interesting as it's not a game that shows its appeal within the first few hours, its only when you're on the higher levels that you can really judge whether its for you. i think its fantastic, and a must-buy

and there is lots of talk of downloadable content to flesh it out, i've heard of a whole extra island (effectively expanding the game by a third) but not sure how true this is

I've started the game on psychotic difficulty, as in the demo it was p|ss easy to kill the bosses. From the first half hour I've had, it seems like it should stretch the gameplay out a bit.

The problem with the bosses is... if you use your brains you can pretty much circumvent 90% of the forces protecting them (sometimes 100%) and take them out quite easily...

Yeah I found that too...
I hired the game out yesterday afternoon as I was abit bored and have powered up pretty nicely. I tend to just run and kick people now as it does more damage than shooting people!

Having said that, the chinese gang seem pretty tough to beat up at the moment.

I have stumbled upon a few of the bosses and killed them very easily which is a dissapointment. The AI of them just lets them stand there taking hits.
Played it, loved it, finished it.
Took me a couple weeks to finish but I didn't concentrate on going from boss to boss.
It's one of the better games for achievements because, mostly, they are achievable.
And they are not all online based.
For instance, keeping a body up in the air by firing continuous rockets at it.
I've still got a handfull left to get.
I might go back and get the remaining ones at some stage.
