5 hour trial and decide for yourself wink

If it was my car I would, the 2 litre FSI T is pretty brisk as standard but has a lovely, satisfying shove in the back when breathed on smile

One word of warning - don't put too much extra torque through the DSG gearbox. It won't take it for long!

It should be able to take the 236 lb/ft torque of the R32/A3 3.2 litre and they will have beefed the DSG box up some more for the R36 Passat.

Oh - the DSG fitted to the Bugatti Veyron isn't quite the same as that in your 2.0 T...

lloyd

watch the free trials , mate of mine did that, reckons car was slower when he got it back, decided to go to another tuner to get it done as was half the pice and was unable to get it done as they had somehow put a spike stopping anyone else doing it !

as suggested careful on the gearbox but any decent tuner will know this allready , the guy that does my remapping does them for £250 and he comes to you had , never had a petrol done but hes done loads of 2.0 tdis and they fly.

DMS did one for a client of mine and it was great. Made such a difference and the did not put anything under too much stress.

Audi have to seperate the horse power given between the different engine models. If they put 250 brake in a 2.0t, whod buy a 3.2?

I too would advise stating away from chipping.

Re-mapping, however, like DMS do is fine. I have been running cars and clients have been for years and never had any problems. I only have good things to say and it it the best way to make a fantastic car better. as someone said earlier they de-tune these engines so as not to take market share from the more powerful and expnsive models in their range.

Chip it. A friend of mine's uncle has a new SEAT Leon FR 2.0TFSI 6-spd it's absolutely mental, absurdly quick. My only slight concern is that if it's your A3 isn't a Quattro model you might go through a few tires. Said SEAT spins it's wheels through 1st and 2nd in wet conditions!
